1. Toronto Zoo hit by ransomware attack

LoanDepot,a third-largest mortgage lender in the U.S., has been hit by cyberattack and it affected internal systems and caused disruption for customers. The company detected unauthorized activity and promptly took steps to contain and respond to the incident. If data has been stolen, it will be a potential treasure trove of data.

2. Mortgage lender LoanDepot struck by suspected ransomware attack

Security Researchers warned that cybercriminals can potentially access Google accounts even without a password by exploiting a vulnerability in cookies, which saves users the time and  hassle of entering their login details to be able to access their accounts. Google issued a statement assuring that it regularly upgrades its defense against techniques and plays its role in securing users falling victim to malware.
