- Autocrypt Demonstrates PKI Interoperability and Implementations at the 3rd ETSI C-V2X Plugtests Event — PR Newswire
Autocrypt, a leading V2X communications cybersecurity company, was the only Asian PKI provider to participate in the 3rd C-V2X Plugtests™ interoperability testing event organized by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Insititute) in partnership with 5GAA at the DEKRA technology center for automobiles located in Klettwitz, Germany.
- Quantum ransomware seen deployed in rapid network attacks — Bleeping Computer
The Quantum ransomware, a strain first discovered in August 2021, was seen carrying out speedy attacks that escalate quickly, leaving defenders little time to react. The threat actors are using the IcedID malware as one of their initial access vectors, which deploys Cobalt Strike for remote access and leads to data theft and encryption using Quantum Locker.
- CISA warns of attackers now exploiting Windows Print Spooler bug — Bleeping Computer
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has added three new security flaws to its list of actively exploited bugs, including a local privilege escalation bug in the Windows Print Spooler. This high severity vulnerability (tracked as CVE-2022–22718) impacts all versions of Windows per Microsoft’s advisory and it was patched during the February 2022 Patch Tuesday.
